Several online resources are free through the Kansas State Library.  Some of these include Chilton, Novelist, Consumer Reports (Click on the link for General OneFile), etc.  These can also be accessed by going to www.kslib.info and clicking on “explore our resources”.

We have just purchased all the William Allen White Award Nominees for  2009/2010.  There is a list for 3rd-5th grades, and another for 6th-8th grades.  Some of the titles are Audio Books!  Check them out, read them, and then go online and vote for the title on the website http://waw.emporia.edu/misc/onlinevoting.htm.
